Al-Baqrah : Ruku'a 7 (Ayat 60-71)

Aur Jab Musa ne Apni Qaum ke liye pani manga ,To Hamne Farmaya 'Is Patthar par Apna Asa maro' Foran Us mein se barah(12) chashme beh nikle , Har giroh ne Apna Ghat pehchan liya , Khao Aur piyo Khuda ka diya , Aur Zameen mein Fasad uthate na firo .

(English)

 And when Moses asked water for his people, then We said, "Strike this rock with your staff," at once, there gushed forth twelve springs therefrom. Each group knew its drinking place. Eat and drink of what Allah has provided and do not wander in the earth raising mischief.

Aur Jab Tumne kaha 'Aye Musa ! Ham se to ek khane par hargiz Sabr na hoga , to Aap Apne Rabb se Dua kijiye ke Zameen mein ki lagayi hui cheezein Hamare liye nikale , kuchh saag aur kakdi , aur genhu , aur Masoor aur pyaz ' Kaha 'Kya Adna cheez ko behtar ke badle mangte ho , Achha Misr ya kisi shaher mein utro wahan Tumhe milega jo Tumne manga

(English)
 And when you said, "O Moses, we will not remain content with one food, pray then to your Lord, that He bring forth for us of what the earth grows, some vegetables and cucumbers and wheat and lentils and onions," said, "Do you demand inferior thing in exchange of the superior?" Well get down in Egypt or in any city, there you shall get that which you demanded, and humiliation and poverty were stamped upon them and drew-in the wrath of Allah. This was in lieu of their refusal of the Signs of Allah and slaying the prophets unjustly. This was due to their disobedience and transgression.

Beshak Imaan-wale neez yahudiyon aur nasraniyon aur sitara-paraston mein se Wo ke scche dil se Allah aur Pichhle Din par Imaan layein , aur nek kaam karein , Unka Sawab Unke Rabb ke paas hai , aur na Unhein kuchh andesha ho na kuchh gham .

(English)
 Surely, those who believed, and the Jews and the Christians and the Sabians, whoever have faith with true hearts in Allah and in the Last-day and do good deeds, their reward is with their Lord, and there shall he no fear for them nor any grief.

Aur Jab Hamne Tumse Ahad liya , Aur Tum par Toor ko uncha kiya ,Lo Jo Kuchh Ham Tumhe dete hein zor se , Aur Uske Mazmoon yaad karo , Is Ummid par ke Tumhe parhezghari mile .

(English)

 And when We took a covenant from you and raised high above you the mount Toor, hold firmly to what We give you, and remember what is therein, in the hope that you may become God-fearing.

(Roman-Urdu)

Fir Is ke baad , Tum fir gaye , To Allah ka fazal aur Uski rehmat , Tum par na hoti to Tum tote-walon(Losers) mein hote .

(English)

 Then you turned back therefore, so if there had been no grace of Allah and His mercy upon you, then you would have been among the losers.

Aur beshak zaroor Tumhe malum hai Tum mein ke Wo Jinhone Hafta mein sarkashi ki , To Hamne Unse farmaya ke ho jaao bandar dhitkare hue .

(English)

 And, undoubtedly, you surely know, those among you who rebelled in the matter of Saturday (Sabbath). So We said to them, "Be Apes, despised."

To Hamne Is basti ka ye wakeya Uske aage aur pichhe walon ke liye Ibrat kar diya , Aur parhezgaron ke liye nasihat .

(English)

 Thus We made this event of that town a warning to those of the present and to those after them and a lesson to the God-fearing.

Aur Jab Musa ne Apni Qaum se farmaya 'Khuda Tumhe hukm deta hai ke ek ghayein (cow) zabah karo ', Bole ke 'Aap hamein maskhara banate hein '. Farmaya 'Khuda ki panah ke mein jahilon se hun.'

(English)

 And when Moses said to his people, "Allah commands you to slaughter a cow". They said, "you make us a laughing stock". He said, "refuge of Allah, that I be among the ignorants".

Bole ' Apne Rabb se Dua kijiye ke Wo Hamein bata de Ghayein kesi ' , Kaha Wo Farmata hai ke ,'Wo ek ghayein hai na budhi aur na ausar , balke in donon ke bich mein to karo jiska Tumhe hukm hota hai .'

(English)

 They said, "pray to your Lord that He tell to us, what kind of the cow, is," he said, "says He, she is a cow, neither old nor immature, but in between both", so do what you are commanded.

Bole 'Apne Rabb se Dua kijiye ke Hamein bata de Us ka rang kya hai ' , Kaha Wo Farmata hai ' Wo Ek peeli ghayein hai , jiski rangat dahed'aati , dekhne walon ko khushi deti hai .'

(English)

 They said, "Pray to your Lord that He tell to us what her colour is," he said, 'says He, she is a yellow cow, whose colour is intensely deep, delightful to the beholders".

Bole 'Apne Rabb se Dua kijiye ke Hamare liye saaf bayan kare , Wo ghayein kesi hai beshak ghayon mein Hamko shuba padh gaya , Aur Allah chahe to Ham rah pa jayeinge,

(English)

 They said, "Pray to Your Lord that He explain clearly to us, what kind of cow is that. Certainly, we have become dubious about cows, and if Allah wills, we shall get the guidance.

(Roman-Urdu)

Kaha Wo Farmata hai ke ' Wo Ek ghayein hai jis se khidmat nahin li jati , ke zameen jhote aur na kheti ko pani de , be-aeyb hai , Jis mein koi daag nahin ', bole 'ab Aapn theek baat laye '. To Use zabah kiya , Zabah karte malum na hote the .

(English)

 (Moses) said, "Says He, that she is a cow, no service is taken from her nor she ploughs the earth, nor water the filth, unblemish in which there is no spot". They said, "now you brought the truth", then they slaughtered her and were not willing to slaughter.
