Al-Baqrah : Ruku'a 4 (Ayat 30-39)

(Roman-Urdu)

Aur Yaad karo Jab Tumhare Rabb ne Farishton se Farmaya , 'Mein Zameen mein Apna Nayab banane wala hu ' , Bole , ' Kya Aese ko Nayab banayega Jo isme fasad failayega aur khun-reziyan karega , Aur Ham Tujhe Sarahte hue Teri Tasbeeh karte Aur Teri Paki bolte hein ', Farmaya 'Muje Malum hai Jo Tum nahi jante ' .

(English) 

 And recall when your Lord said to the Angels, I am about to place a vicegerent in the earth, they said, "will You place such who will spread disorder there in and shed blood'? and We praise You commending You and sanctify You". He told, 'I know what you know not'.

(Roman-Urdu)

Aur Allah Ta'ala ne Adam ko tamam (Ashya) ke naam sikhaye , Phir Sab (Ashya) ko Malaika per paish karke Farmaya ,'Sacche ho to inke naam to batao ' .

(English)

 And Allah the Exalted taught the names of all things to Adam. Then presenting all things before the Angels said, "Tell the names of these, if you are truthful."

Bole , 'Paki hai Tuje , Hamein kuchh Ilm nahi , Magar Jitna Tune Hamein Sikhaya ,  Beshak Tu hi Ilm wa Hikmat wala hai '.

(English)

 They said "Sanctity to You", We know nothing but what You taught us, no doubt, You alone are the Know-er and the Wise.

Farmaya , 'Aye Adam bata de Inhe Sab (Ashya) ke naam , Jab Usne(Yani Adam ne) Unhe Sab ke naam bata diye , Farmaya 'Mein na kehta tha ke Mein janta hu Aasmano aur Zameen ki sab chhupi chizein , Aur Mein janta hu Jo kuchh Tum zahir karte aur jo kuchh Tum chhupate ho . 

(English)

 He "said, "O Adam tell them the names of all things, when Adam had informed them of the names of all, He told, had I not told you that I know all the hidden things of the heavens and earth, and I know whatever you disclose and whatever you hide.

(Roman-Urdu)
Aur (Yad karo) Jab Hamne Farishton ko hukm diya ke Adam ko sajda karo , To Sab ne sajda kiya , Siway Iblis ke , Munkir hua , Aur gurur kiya , Aur Kafir ho gaya .

(English)
 And recall, when We ordered the angels to prostrate before Adam, then all prostrated save Iblees. He refused and boasted, and became disbeliever.

(Roman-Urdu)

Aur Hamne Farmaya , 'Aye Adam ! Tu Aur Teri biwi Is Jannat mein raho , Aur khao Is mein se be-rok-tok , Jahan Tumhara jee chahe , Magar is Paid ke paas na jana , Ke Had se badhne walon mein se ho jaoge '.

(English)
 And We said, "O Adam dwell you and your wife in this paradise and eat freely thereof where you will, but do not approach this tree lest you become of the transgressors.

(Roman-Urdu)

To Shaitan ne Jannat se Unhe lagzish di , Aur jaha rehte the waha se Unhe alag kar diya , Aur Hamne farmaya ,'Niche Utro, Aapas mein Ek Tumhara Dusre ka Dushman , Aur Tumhe Ek waqt tak zameen mein thaherna aur baratna hai .' 

(English)
 The Satan made them slip and got them out from the place where they lived, and We said, "get down, one of you is the enemy of the other and you have to stay in the earth and to make use of it for a time.

(Roman-Urdu)

Fir Sikh liye Adam ne Apne Rabb se kuchh kalime , To Allah ne uski Tauba qubul ki , Beshak Wahi hai bahot Tauba qabul karne wala , Maherban .

(English)
 Then Adam learnt certain words from his Lord, so Allah accepted his penitence. Surely, He is the alone most Relenting, Merciful.

(Roman-Urdu)
Hamne Farmaya , 'Tum sab Jannat se utar jao ,Fir agar Tumhare paas Meri taraf se koi hidayat aaye , To Jo Meri hidayat ka pairo hua , Use na koi andesha na koi gham '.

(English)
 We said, "you all, get down from the paradise then if any guidance comes to you from Me, then whosoever followed My guidance, they have no fear nor any grief.

(Roman-Udu)

Aur Wo Jo kufr karein , Aur Meri Aayatein jhutlayenge ,  Wo Dozakh wale hein , Unko Hamesha Usme rehna .

(English)

 And those who disbelieve and shall belie My signs, they are the people of the hell, they have to live in it forever.
